In this week’s conversation, we visit again with In this week’s conversation, we visit again with Gregory Done as we transition to the year’s second half. We spoke earlier this year in episode 249, where we discussed the interaction of character, nature, and fate—and how this informs our experiences. In this conversation, we explore the harmonizing of capacity and opportunity as the annual cycles of yin and yang change into each other and how symbols in Chinese Astrology can help interpret the past, present, and the blurry future. We look back at the last six months before turning our gaze on what the rest of the year might hold for all the 12 Zodiac animals.

Stayed tuned! The episode drops Tuesday. We discuss the influences of the year according to Polestar Astrology and the possibilities, opportunities, and challenges for the coming six months.

ABOUT THIS SEMINAR
Stagnant qi in the head is a much overlooked yet important pattern commonly seen in children. It can cause various physical, behavioral, and emotional symptoms that may blight a child's life.

In this seminar, we will look at what causes this pattern, its manifestations, and, most importantly, what we can do to help. We will look at what we, as acupuncturists, can do in the clinic with needles and non-needle techniques and what we can teach parents to do at home.

It's no exaggeration to say that promoting the smooth flow of qi in a child's head can change the course of their life for the better.

⭐️You will come away knowing when this needs to be done and how to do it.
⭐️To recognize the signs and symptoms of stagnant qi in the head in children
⭐️How to successfully resolve this pattern with acupuncture
⭐️How to successfully resolve this pattern with non-needle techniques

The ability to perceive with our hands to assess the flow of life through the body is a valued skill in East Asian medicine. It’s a delicate and discerning art that takes full form when thinking does not overshadow, and when cognitive understanding of anatomical landmarks combines with the attentive impressionable mind.

To fully understand and interpret what is felt underneath the hands, you must learn to listen respectfully to the ebb and flow of the fundamental substances Qi, Blood, and Body Fluids, which are keenly involved in supporting human life. For this, your critical, conscious mind has to be quiet enough to accept the knowledge that comes from your hands.
